Message We're called "Process" Engineers in the refining, upgrading and petrochemical business. I have a cushy 40 hour a week office job, within the city of Edmonton for the most part, so I'm not quite making as much as you describe.

"Petroleum" Engineering is a different line of work than what I do.. that's usually further "upstream". I don't deal with taking oil out of the ground at all.
